As part of the Center for Clinical Excellence, the Regulatory and Policy CQI Specialist designs, directs, and facilitates implementation of effective systems to evaluate compliance throughout Loyola University Health system. Reports to the Regional Director of Regulatory & Accreditation. Scope includes coordination with Hospital and Ambulatory leadership. Coordinates strategies, education, and monitoring to promote a culture of quality and patient safety and to assure ongoing regulatory compliance.

Identifies mechanisms to communicate progress

related to clinical quality and patient safety improvement initiatives.

Communicates verbally, with power point presentations, and in writing to

accurately share results and recommendations internally and externally.

Promotes the clinical quality and patient safety agenda through activities

such as the Quality & Safety Fair and Patient Safety Week. Develops

relationships with Medical Staff leadership and others to facilitate

effective discussions and regulatory compliance activities.
