We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician to join our Care Chemicals team in Mauldin, SC.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QC Lab Technician to join our team in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing analytical support to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety. Additionally, your key responsibilities will include conducting accurate and efficient analyses of various ingredients used in the personal care and hygiene industry.

During your shift as a Quality Control Lab Technician I - Mauldin, SC, you will...

  • Test raw materials, in-process samples, and final samples, making necessary calculations and adjustments to the process.

  • Conduct internal standard testing to ensure the proper functioning and prevention of equipment failure in the laboratory, as well as report any unsafe laboratory equipment or conditions.

  • Accurately record and communicate test results in RTPS and SAP.

  • Standardize laboratory reagents, communicate supply needs, manage unpacking and storage, and ensure an adequate supply of solvents.

  • Obtain and store retains properly, dispose of in-process, raw material, and old retains, and ensure safe waste disposal.

  • Clean glassware and maintain lab cleanliness.

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

  • Troubleshoot product manufacturing if needed.

If you...

  • Hold an Associate’s Degree in Math or Chemistry (preferred).

  • Have 1 to 5 years of work experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (preferred).

  • Possess experience working in a chemical manufacturing setting (preferred).

  • Have a general understanding of process chemistry and the ability to performmathematicalcalculations.

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities for accurate analysis and record-keeping.

  • Possess a strong understanding of Safety, Stewardship, and Quality Management policies and are dedicated to upholding our safety culture.
