Elevation Church Videographer (Elevation Worship Creative) in Matthews, North Carolina

RESPONSIBILITIES
Pitch ideas based on the needs of the artists on Elevation Worship Records, ensuring they align with the team's mission and vision
Collaborate with teammates to develop creative concepts and pitch creative treatments.
From initial concept to final production, plan and execute projects for the artist on our label, such as music videos, live performance videos, lyrics videos, visualizers, etc.
Work with the team to build video sets with creative lighting that stylistically serves the project.
Execution in all aspects of a video project: pre-pro, production, and post-production. This includes both single-camera and multi-camera projects.
MUST-HAVES
Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
Film portfolio available online
Experience with editing in Davinci Resolve
Self-starter who enjoys coming up with and pitching ideas
Ability to oversee a set and team to achieve a video's vision
Ability to shoot video, light sets, and edit video
3+ years of experience in creative treatments
Understanding and experience with multi-camera editing
Proactive and excellent ability to problem-solve
Great attention to detail
Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
NICE-TO-HAVES
Bachelor's degree in media, video/film, or related field
Background in fine art or music
Working knowledge of live production
Experience with After Effects
DAY-TO-DAY
We're a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
Yes, we work hard. But we're good at playing hard, too. We're a creative staff, so there's no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
