Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager based in Matteson, Illinois, United States. This role will involve overseeing and supervising the daily functions of the Accounting AP staff and assisting in month-end and year-end close duties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise the daily functions of the Accounting AP staff

• Handle the month/year end close

• Prepare management reports

• Perform account reconciliations

• Participate in the annual business plan

• Manage Accounts Payable Clerks

• Enter Consignment invoices

• Make Journal Entries to Allocate expenses among multiple stores

• Print all checks

• Process ACH’s & Wires

• Code & calculate sales and use tax on expense vendor invoices

• Answer vendor inquiries on payments and invoice discrepancies

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Statement Reconciliations

• Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships

• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table

• Supervisory management skills Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 4 years accounting experience

Oracle Software Experience Required

Need to know VLookups and Pivot Tables
