Saint-Gobain Sales Development and Operation Lead in Massachusetts

What’s the job?

The CertainTeed Offsite Solutions is looking for a talented Sales Development & Operation Lead to drive growth in the ONE PRECISION ASSEMBLIES product line. As we embark on an exciting journey to scale our business, this position will be pivotal in analyzing the most effective sales channels for growth, contributing to the design of successful pricing strategies, and optimizing sales processes. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is adept at balancing strategic planning with practical tasks such as customer outreach, lead generation, and market analysis.

Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to create innovative strategies to scale the sales of the business, including go-to-market channel strategies, optimizing relationships with distribution partners, and designing successful price strategies. Develop and refine sales processes that enhance our reach to builders and developers while ensuring alignment with our overall growth objectives.

  • Work closely with the central marketing and CRM team to analyze pipeline performance, leveraging data insights to increase sales conversations and opportunities win rate. Propose and lead initiatives to create/optimize new tools to enhance the impact of the sales team.

Sales and Estimations Management

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with builders and developers. Conduct thorough assessments of their needs to facilitate sales conversations, focusing on transitioning from individual housing projects to repeat builds and large-scale community developments through customized solutions.

  • Generate accurate project estimations for your pipeline and the sales team. Offer insights to enhance the usability of the estimation tool, ensuring it is customer-centric, and aligned with client needs and organization pricing strategies.

Market Analysis

  • Support the enhancement of market analysis initiatives by engaging with established market research firms and innovative startups, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to provide fresh insights into the real estate market.

  • Propose innovative approaches to use market insights and external market analysis output into comprehensive formats that can be effectively utilized for growth planning and pricing strategies.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing or equivalent required; Technical diploma can be considered based on relevant working experience.

• 3+ years’ experience in marketing, construction industry sales, and/or business development environment required.

• 3+ years’ experience in the construction industry including in prop-tech, material manufacturing, distribution, or building required.

• Experience in the prefabrication industry preferred.

• Sales strategy development and sales projections financial modeling.

• Familiar with establishing successful pricing strategy, preferably in the residential construction market.

• Ability to materialize sales and gather valuable customer insights to inform and enhance sales strategy.

• Experienced with sales operations using a Salesforce equivalent CRM.

• Experienced and comfortable with proptech solutions that add value to market analysis.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.

• Ability to travel up to 25% for meeting customers, partners and attending industry events.
