Drex Corporation OPERATIONS MANAGER in Maspeth, New York
Conduct interviews and select the workers for individual jobsites. Submittal of weekly lookahead schedule to the General Contractor (GC). Provide all relevant submittals to the GC. Submit all necessary Request for Information (RFI’s) to the GC. Procure materials and schedule deliveries. Ensure all paperwork is filled out every morning and stored away to be accessible if needed again. Ensure the site complies with all OSHA and safety standards. Ensure daily machine safety checklists are carried out and any issues are flagged, and the on-call mechanic is called to repair. Ensure manhours do not exceed the allotted amount stated in the budget.Control budgeting and costs for individual projects. Ensure goals and milestones are achieved. Log weekly production numbers to the Production Report spreadsheet. Track all additional Time & Material Tickets (T&M). Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and safe working environment for all workers. Responsible for submitting end of job budget reports to company ownership.Responsible for closing out all open issues regarding DREX’s scope of work once the job has been completed.Daily Supervision of five (5) subordinate department managers such as marketing, accounting and project management
Minimum Salary: 76200 Maximum Salary: 90000 Salary Unit: Yearly
