We are seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer who will improve production efficiency, troubleshoot problems, and ensure quality standards. In addition this person will design processes, collaborate with teams, and innovate to enhance productivity and effectiveness in manufacturing operations.

Job Description:

  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing processes and manufacturing methods

  • Calculate production, labor, and material costs

  • Populate and release Engineering Change Notices

  • Prepare and populate product BOM in ERP system

  • Provide drawings, models, and all necessary engineering documents for all manufacturing operations

  • Assure product and process quality by designing test methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, establishing standards, confirming manufacturing processes

  • Ad hoc projects and assignments as needed

    Requirements:

  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related field

  • Proficiency in Solidworks, MS Office, PDM and ERP systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve engineering challenges

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results

    The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At ASSA ABLOY it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
