Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Technician B (Intermediate Level) you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division performing production tasks for a wide variety of cryo-cooler assemblies which may include skilled hand work and or utilizing automated production equipment. This is a first shift position with flexible start times.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete assigned manufacturing and testing process steps for cryo-cooler assemblies for customer deliverables

  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component preparation/installation/testing

  • Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents

  • Understand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety procedures

  • Support group objectives for on-time delivery

  • Follow industry standard or practice for 6S

  • Work independently and with a team

  • Provide regular status reports on work in progress

    Qualifications:

  • Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

  • Experience with hand tools

  • Experience in reading/following drawings and work instructions

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills

  • Eager to learn new processes

  • Experience in an ESD/FOD and or clean room areas

    Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting at a workstation and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to a minimum of 25 pounds at times
