How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) This position's primary purpose is to lead and direct manufacturing operations including multi-site facilities, continuous improvement, and materials management functions with the aim of increasing performance in safety, quality, customer service, delivery, cost and inventory. This position is both strategic and tactical in nature and will drive rapid, measurable, and sustained continuous improvement for integrated operations. This role will also include due diligence and integration activities related to M&A. Key to this role will be leadership of the improvement process of materials management resulting in improved customer service levels and improved cash flow through the reduction of working capital. Additionally, this position is responsible for the master scheduling process optimizing customer service levels, quality, throughput, inventory turns, assets, operating expense, and EHS around critical performance metrics. This role has a high degree of presence and involvement with critical organizational functions requiring mentoring to key leaders to improve the overall performance of the business, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. Lead and manage the operations team to achieve production goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to set long-term manufacturing goals and objectives. Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and timely production of products. Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and company targets. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures. Oversee inventory management to minimize waste and reduce costs. Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, controlling costs while optimizing resources. Analyze financial data related to manufacturing operations and make informed decisions. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality. Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, and develop staff.
