Cintas Digital Content Specialist II in Mason, Ohio

Job Description

Cintas is currently looking for a Digital Content Specialist II role. This role will help promote Cintas through all forms of digital media, including video (live and produced), audio, photo, graphic, social, web, app and written platforms. The content developed will inform, motivate, train, inspire, influence and/or sell the intended information to varying audiences of internal and external stakeholders.

This position will produce content in a highly collaborative and cross-functional process, with a special focus on turning complex information into user-friendly content in a fast-moving corporate business environment. This position works closely with employees from all levels and all functions at Cintas.

The successful candidate will possess both creative and analytical mindsets and will successfully couple excellent communication skills with a collaborative nature to produce digital assets that deliver on expectations and proposed goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation

Coordinate and create digital content that achieves business goals in cooperation with employees from across the organization.

Develop and lead end-to-end projects that include video, audio, photo, graphics, written, social, website and/or mobile application components.

Maintain up-to-date project statuses, including project briefs, project time tracking, meeting and project notes, budget charges, and project communications using a project management portal

Produce content that meets Cintas brand standards, as well as legal and client requirements

Create, edit and produce visually appealing and effective video, photo, graphic and integrated digital content for web, social media, and email, as dictated by the approved project brief, often on tight timelines

Manage invoicing internally, outside vendor(s) and rented equipment to execute projects when necessary, including freelance and other on- and off-camera talent for digital content support

Assist with annual budgeting forecasting for digital content equipment and software needs, as well as management of equipment inventory

Use editing, content management, and HTML skills to publish and edit content across various digital platforms

Maintain the corporation’s multimedia archives of finished products and production files

Stay up-to-date with digital media developments and industry best practices, and introduce ways to incorporate them into Cintas’ business operations

Customer Service

Ideate, develop, administer and execute new projects and ensure all content meets the internal clients’ requirements while fostering relationship through the process. This includes

Identify, facilitate and discern project requirements

Navigate and incorporate project feedback in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule

Ensure all projects meet the allocated budget, and assist with reconciling project expenses.

Provide counsel to clients about best practices and emerging trends

Monitor ROI and KPIs and help prepare regular reports for management and clients

Skills/Qualifications

Required

A bachelor’s degree in communications, TV production, electronic media, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related course of study.

A minimum of five (5) years experience as a content creator in a corporate, agency, entertainment or educational setting

Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite – especially Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom – is required

Bachelor’s degree in digital journalism, digital media, digital marketing, communications, marketing, or a related field

Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive team-centered communication approach

Excellent oral, writing, editing communication skills with the ability to convey highly complex information in clear, compelling ways

Must be a strong storyteller and designer with an online portfolio showcasing representative work

Demonstrated track record of producing engaging, informative content that relays an approved message

Must be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and on budget

Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure

Must be a self-starter, resourceful and effectively implement feedback

Must be able to travel, including internationally as the role requires

Experience creating storyboards and writing scripts

Preferred

Prior experience in a corporate or agency setting

A minimum of two (2) years experience in a management role, leading interns or team members

Experience producing animation and 3D graphics is encouraged, especially via Adobe Creative Suite

Audio production experience, including producing a file from audio feeds originating from different locations and inputs

Live event production experience, including producing a live-streamed event with video or presentation feeds, originating from different locations and inputs

Ability to design, produce and test interactive content leveraged on owned media and across digital channels and campaigns

Familiarity with visual communication principles

Comfort with content management systems and web design/updates
