Description We are offering an opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This role is within the Information Technology industry and involves ensuring the stable operation of client computer networks, as well as providing excellent customer service. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

• Develop, implement and maintain policies/procedures for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.

• Perform network design and capacity planning while ensuring the efficient and stable operation of client's computer networks.

• Provide clear communication and strong customer service to clients while resolving hardware and software issues.

• Work through inbound customer calls and ticketing systems to resolve issues, and provide necessary end-user training.

• Assist in the development of junior technicians and act as the highest technical asset in the Service Desk escalation process.

• Research hardware and software, negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.

• Perform asset and operational management responsibilities such as managing servers, security solutions, routers, switches, and network hardware.

• Occasionally inspect cables, floors, and ceilings as part of the maintenance duties.

• Be available to work on-call as part of a rotation. Requirements

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies

• Knowledgeable in Citrix Technologies

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Technologies

• Experience with Windows Servers

• Expertise in Active Directory

• Hands-on experience with Backup Technologies

• Proficient in Cluster Analysis

• Ability to work with Computer Hardware
