Nestle Factory Supply Chain Manager in Marton, New Zealand

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure outstanding service delivery of factory Supply Chain at minimum cost-to-serve.

  • Manage and develop factory supply chain teams.

  • Ensure achievable production scheduling and minimize production costs.

  • Coordinate material management planning for timely and cost-effective availability of raw and packaging materials.

  • Oversee warehousing operations and accurate inventory management.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.

  • Monitor and manage safety, health, environment, quality, and CARE regulations.

  • Collaborate with peer factory Supply Chain managers to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop careers, succession plans, and provide coaching for supply chain personnel.

  • Communicate downstream needs to instil customer service orientation within the plant's organisation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in manufacturing, industrial performance, demand & supply planning, warehousing, inbound material management, or production planning.

  • Beneficial to have experience in LEAN, 6 Sigma, or 5S processes, finance, transports, or procurement operations.

  • Advantageous to have experience in managing projects such as High-Performance Logistics.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including non-financial professionals. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve financial goals.
