Robert Half Customer Service Rep in Marshall, Michigan
Description We are in search of a Customer Service Rep to join our team in MARSHALL, Michigan. The selected candidate will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling communication and order management. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries, both via phone and email, and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Communicate with various internal teams including sales, operations, and accounting to meet customer expectations.
• Process customer orders accurately into the system and monitor their progress, ensuring timely production and shipping.
• Maintain and update customer records in the system, ensuring data accuracy.
• Facilitate customer qualifications and requirements and answer product-related queries.
• Initiate and follow through on claim forms, resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
• Notify customers of production delays and special concerns.
• Assist outside sales representatives with all aspects of customer accounts.
• Participate in continuous improvement training and take on a leadership role on projects.
• Travel as needed to meet customers, salespeople, and visit other facilities. Requirements • Job Title: Customer Service Rep
Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service role
Skills Requirements:
• Proficiency in 3M
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Proficiency in CRM
• Experience with About Time software
• Proficient in Accounting Functions
• Experience in Billing Functions
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Experience in Campaign Planning
• Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software TalentMatch®
