Lutheran SeniorLife Speech Language Pathologist in Mars, Pennsylvania
This is a casual position. Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. Rehabilitation services are dedicated to helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence and bridging the transition from illness to wellness at home and community, by emphasizing the restoration of mobility and function. The Speech Language Pathologist provides quality Speech Language Pathology services including resident/patient/client assessment, evaluation, care planning, treatment and consultation in an interdisciplinary environment at Lutheran SeniorLife facilities/agencies including, as assigned, skilled nursing, LIFE programs, Home Health, and Outpatient Clinics. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology; or Communication Disorders, and within 1 year complete certificate of clinical competence and obtain a PA License as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence and two to four years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of computer software required for documentation and communication. Maintains current PA License as a Speech Language Pathologist, including meeting continuing education requirements. Lutheran SeniorLife and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers.
