Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per Hour

What’s the Job?

• Responsibilities to include answering the phones and greeting customers.

• Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or phone.

• Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail and messages.

• Keep a current record of staff members' whereabouts and availability.

• Perform other office duties, such as taking care of plants and kitchen area, straightening reception area, filing, or making copies as necessary.

What’s Needed?

• Temporary position, mid-August to mid November.

• Monday to Friday, roughly 25 hours per week, 9:30am to 2:30pm.

• Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

• Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.

• Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
