Staff Engineer, Bridge for Gannett Fleming, Inc. to work at our Marlton, NJ loc. May telecommute 2 days/wk.Develop designs, calculations, specs, material quantities, cost estimates, construction element durations, scopes of work, schedules for development of deliverables and construction and cost estimates. Function as Asst Team Leader on bridge inspection activities and assist w/ inspection of complex structures. Produce drawings and specs, material quantities and cost estimates. Review shop drawings to determine conformance with contract docs. Provide direction to Engineers. Communicate with clients. Attend public and agency meetings and participate under supervision of Proj Manager.Little regional travel to client sites and meetings within NJ/PA and visits to Philadelphia office may be involved. No overnight stays.May undergo background checks incl drug screening and MV records check.Must have B.S. in Civil Engineering, Structures, or rel field and 4 yrs exp in bridge design and plan development.Also reqs the following skills (4 yrs exp) in: CADD, MS Office, geometry and structural design software, Design Manuals and Design Guidelines, project management.Also reqs PE License.Visit careers.gannettfleming.com to apply.
