• Reporting to Associate Director, Marketing & Sales Enablement – BTS - Allergan Aesthetics

Job Overview

As a Web and Mobile Application Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the development and maintenance of web and mobile applications for Allergan Aesthetics International. You will lead a team of developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project deliveries are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Your role will involve both technical and functional domains, requiring a strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, User experience design, team leadership, and communication skills.

The role is part of the Marketing & Sales Enablement Capability Group and will closely partner with both other AA International BTS Groups as well as enterprise groups like Technology Platform Teams and the UX/UI Centre of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of web and mobile application development from concept to deployment.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, scrum master’s and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

• Ensure the performance, quality, security and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and review processes.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance application functionality.

• Allocate resources efficiently, managing workload distribution among team members to optimize productivity.

• Address technical issues, performance bottlenecks and challenges promptly, providing robust and scalable solutions.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all applications and development processes.

• Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments to ensure project alignment and transparency.

• Bring innovation mindset and ideate on future capabilities and solutions.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in web application development

• Proven experience of Adobe Experience Manager including authoring, publishing of components, templates, and workflows etc.

• Experience in delivery management methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Agile development, Jira etc.).

• Experience integrating AEM with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products, third-party systems, RESTful APIs, and web services

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Experience in managing vendor development teams and commercials budget.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Experience

• Proven experience in mobile application development, with significant experience in a leadership role and hands-on abilities.

• Experience in native Mobile platform development and rollout experience in iOS and android.

Knowledge and Skills

Skilled in one or more of the following technology stack and tools.

• Programming Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Swift (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android), React Native

• Frameworks and Libraries: React.js, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery

• Backend Development: Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET

• Databases: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases

• Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket

• APIs: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP

• Infrastructure: AEM, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform

• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes

• UI/UX Design: Basic understanding of design principles, tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch
