Marlette Regional Hospital Patient Care Technician in Marlette, Michigan
Marlette Hospital has in immediate need for a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Department. This is a full time 40 hours/week, night shift position.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification
- Certification in a specialty discipline is preferred
- NIMS education 100 and 700 within six months of hire
- One year direct patient care experience as a certified nurse aide, patient care technician, EMT, EMT-S, EMT-P, or LPN. EMT-P is preferred
- Able to perform phlebotomy draws and EKG's is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient care
- Good computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Able to copy file/images to CD
