Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer. In this role, you will perform both manual and automated tests to ensure our software is functional and reliable. You will create detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications, and document and report any bugs, errors, and inconsistencies found during testing. Additionally, you will enhance and automate test procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Your feedback on potential issues, risks, and usability during product design reviews will be invaluable. You will also validate that requirements and specifications have been met after the software is released or implemented. To continuously improve our testing process, you will assess new testing tools and methodologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The compensation for this role ranges from $60/hr to 65/hr depending on skillset, education, and years of experience. Benefits are also offered for this role.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-7 Years Experience as a Software Testing Engineer

• Medical Device Industry Experience

• Software System/Black Box Testing Experience

• Experience with Automation

• Experience with scripting language

• Programming Language like C++ is preferred null
