Montgomery County Government Maintenance Mechanic in Marion, Ohio
Marion Company in need of a Maintenance Technician $18-$20/hr. First Shift (6:00am-3:00pm)
The Maintenance position needs to be a person with well-rounded maintenance skills including the following:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics systems.
- Basic Multi-meter skills.
- Read Mechanical blue prints -- MUST HAVE
- Caliper Reading -- MUST HAVE
- Tape Measure -- MUST HAVE
- Knowledge of performing preventative and predictive maintenance.
- PLC knowledge a plus.
- Trouble shooting and problem solving skills a must.
- Knowledge and use of hand tools.
- Basic welding skills ( Mig welding/ Tig welding) a plus.
- Ability to fabricate.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
- Great attendance is required.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
