We are providing an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant role based in Marinette, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be involved in various areas of accounting such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis for our operations. This role is integral to our team, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities promptly.

• Perform detailed monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Regularly review, generate, and authorize journal entries.

• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the department, contributing financial expertise and ideas.

• Consistently keep costing rates up to date.

• Collaborate with different functional teams to push for cost reduction and process improvements.

• Aid in crafting monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.

• Execute financial analysis and reporting for manufacturing operations, encompassing cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements • Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is mandatory

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is required

• Extensive knowledge of General Ledger is essential

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries is needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with Month End Close is necessary
