Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for assistance in implementing the MCCS Corporate Sales/Sponsorship program objectives and fulfillment of agreements. Coordinates the distribution of advertising and sponsorship information between internal departments and outside partner organizations and sponsors. Updates any paid digital advertising schedules, coordinates print advertising installations, and follows up with proof of performance. Ensures sponsor deliverables are distributed per the agreement terms. Attends MCCS events, including the MCAS Yuma Air Show, where sponsors are present to ensure on-site fulfillment of agreement deliverables. Retains detailed accounting of financial requirements for budgeting purposes and maintains fiscal records for each agreement. Monitors and reports all financial tracking to ensure due dates, deposits, advertising, and sponsorship income administration fall within legal guidelines. Solicits, negotiates, and writes advertising and sponsorship agreements of a designated value threshold. Assists in developing a pipeline of new prospects through outbound solicitations or by evaluation of incoming calls. Updates weekly reports and attends weekly meetings. Provides Corporate Sales Team administrative support. Performs various tasks such as preparing routine correspondence, responding to phone and e-mail inquiries, etc. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles, and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify, and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety equipment and observe safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field OR a combination of experience and education in sales, marketing, or a related degree. Must have strong knowledge of sales and marketing, consumer behavior, personal selling, and advertising. Must be detail-oriented and proficient with current software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate the distribution of information between internal departments and outside partner organizations. Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills. Exhibit both strong oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with military personnel, sponsors, and MCCS employees and managers. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interpret DoD and USMC policies concerning sponsorship agreements. Ability to understand the department goals, determine role within it, and make suggestions/recommendations as needed. Ability to work weekends when necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a no-commission sales position. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
