Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring quality and accuracy, and maintaining proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials.

• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality and specifications.

• File quality-related documents.

• Package, measure, weigh, and label outgoing products.

• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Maintain and verify documentation for bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

• Enter data related to shipments in MRP and shipping software.

• Use shipping software to generate reports.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of recent experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to take accurate measurements.

• Good organizational skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Experience with MRP systems.

• Must be accurate and pay attention to details.

• Willing to take on tasks as directed.

• Willing to take initiative when appropriate.

• Willing to be flexible as needed.

Work Environment

The physical demands include lifting up to 30 lbs and the ability to sit and stand for reasonable periods of time. The role requires accurate attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.00/hr.
