Job Description: Flexographic Press Operator (1st Shift)

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials per job specifications.

• Mix and adjust inks to achieve the correct colors, monitor viscosity, and ensure consistent print quality throughout the run.

• Perform routine maintenance on the press, including cleaning rollers, plates, and components, and troubleshoot mechanical or quality issues as needed.

• Conduct visual inspections and use measurement tools to ensure colors, registration, and other specifications meet customer standards.

• Accurately record production data, including setup details, materials, and quantities produced.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Adhere to company policies on machine operation and handling hazardous materials.

• Collaborate with supervisors, ink technicians, and quality control to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.

• Convert master rolls into smaller rolls using slitter rewinders and tabletop finishers.

• Package finished products, label, and seal them in an organized manner.

• Remove finished rolls from the press and clean ink pans after each job.

• Hours: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.

• Pay: $25-$30/hr.

• Minimum 4 years of experience operating flexographic presses (4-color, 6-color, or 10-color).
