Lockheed Martin Maintenance Reliability Engineer - Level 4 in Marietta, Georgia

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with Critical Machine craft persons to ensure equipment readiness for all production programs and fabrication requirements. This role will involve troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance analysis of automated production equipment, robotics, digital controls, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in mediating and collaborating between production method engineers/operators and maintenance technicians to solve complex problems and increase machine performance and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime

Lead reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to identify and mitigate potential failures, and implement predictive maintenance techniques

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to identify and prioritize maintenance and reliability initiatives

Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction

Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve equipment design, reduce maintenance requirements, and enhance overall asset reliability

Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel, including training and coaching on maintenance best practices

Develop and manage maintenance budgets, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure maintenance effectiveness

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, including safety and environmental standards

Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure effective maintenance and repair services

Manage and oversee the repair, replacement, or redesign of facilities, installation and maintenance of production equipment, and preventive maintenance planning and scheduling

Implement timely completion of requirements in compliance with company programs, objectives, and within established cost parameters

Further Information About This Opportunity

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in maintenance, reliability, and engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Strong knowledge of automated production equipment, robotics, digital controls, and operating systems

Experience working with skilled trades (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Etc)

Experience with RCM maintenance strategies and performance analysis

Desired Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Certification in maintenance, reliability, or engineering, such as CMRP, CRL, or PE, is preferred

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, and engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful maintenance strategies and RCM programs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software. Maximo is preferred.

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and total productive maintenance (TPM).

Knowledge of condition-based maintenance (CBM) and predictive maintenance techniques.

Experience with IIOT technology devices or reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)\\data analytical software, such as Splunk, Grafana, or Tableau.

Experience with automated machines and equipment with both CNC and PLC controllers including: Multi-axis mills, Fanuc Robotics, and Custom Multi-Axis Drilling and Riveting Machines (Siemens and Allen Bradley experience preferred).

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
