Job Summary Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of manufacturing plant and the employees. Duties include hiring and training manufacturing plant employees, reviewing production records to determine whether employees meet their performance expectations and coordinating with corporate management to enforce changes to plant budgets or safety procedures. Oversee operations to ensure safety Develop plans that help operations run smoothly Manage production Create and manage budgets Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement Oversee work schedules to ensure coverage in absence of operations supervisor Perform routine safety checks on equipment Plant cleanliness Maintaining company equipment Plant maintenance walkthroughs Perform monthly walkthroughs Communicate these items through management Inventory management Minimum Qualifications Broad background in manufacturing processes 5 years of managerial experience in an industrial setting Preferred Qualifications Experience with quality control within a manufacturing process Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Team-management and leadership skills. Documentation management and ability to use project management tools. Environment is fast-paced, action oriented, and high energy. Individual must have high-level organizational and time management skills. Work Environment Job functions will be carried out in a plant environment which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
