This role will be critical to the delivery of SAP enterprise Support around our Global and Legacy SAP systems. This position is located at Maplewood, MN and is part of the IT ERP Services team.As a SAP Technical Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Supervision and coordination of SAP BASIS Production deliveries, managing a team of 3Mers and MSA partner in a 24/7 environment.Collaborate with SAP Production Support services in providing production support and participate in code events related to these products.Collaborate with various teams including Infrastructure, DB2 DBAs, Solution Manager, Splunk Teams, Performance Testing, Release Management and Global process support.Ability to perform and analyze administration and operation of the SAP and HANA Database.Support and lead critical Production deliverables, including Redwood, SAP System Refreshes, patches, Upgrades, System migrations, POCs etc.Serve as Technical Lead for complex SAP problem and its resolutions. Provide support & coordination for resolving escalated SAP system issues. Participate in crisis & code event meetings as necessary.Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements within SAP System design and implementation.Automate administrative and operational aspects of SAP Projects systems.Maintain technical knowledgebase and documentation of SAP system components and architecture.Maintain the change processes within the SAP Landscape and the SAP Infrastructure according to accepted policy and proceduresDirect and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, and technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology and/or Computer Science (completed and verified prior to start)Ten (10) years professional experience in the IT field in a private, public, government, or military environmentTen (10) years of Basis administration experience in SAP environment with multiple modules and applicationsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master of Computer ScienceFive (5) years of experience leading and managing a teamStrong SAP Basis skills and experience in SAP Basis administration supporting very large SAP Projects environment.Experience working with SAP and Managed Services partners.Working knowledge of SAP HANA, AWS Cloud, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and DB2 UDB.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and team collaboration skills.Experience with managing and coordinate/close all issues related to Production delivery.Relationship building skillsWillingness to support mission critical systemsWork location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood at least 3 days per week)Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment v sa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
