Volt LAB Technician II in Maplewood, Minnesota

Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will have direct involvement in the processing line, aiding product developers with coating operations, and performing analytical tasks to characterize samples and aid product development. Training Unique Training on process equipment and analytical equipment. This is a first shift, full-time contingent opportunity. As a Lab Tech II you will:

  • Operate various mechanical equipment, learn, safe handling of chemicals, meticulous documentation of experiments, and collaborative problem-solving within a team.
  • Perform chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests necessary for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
  • Responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
  • The ability to follow procedures and methods and to work effectively on a self-directed team is essential.
  • A good mechanical aptitude and skills, along with experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line, are necessary.Preferred Qualifications:

``` - Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or other related STEM field - Prior experience in a lab or technical environment - Proficiency in computer use, along with strong communication and time management skills, is required.
