Wright County Community Action Family Resource Center Manager in Maple Lake, Minnesota
Job Summary: The primary role of the Family Resource Center Manager is to lead and manage the development and operation of an FRC model in Wright County, MN. In simple terms, this nationwide model is a community-led hub that bundles and co-locates services. This position will be responsible for directly coordinating support services and collaborating with community partners. The position supervises staff, including cultural navigators. Education and Experience Bachelor s degree or higher in social work, human services, psychology, or related field. Demonstrated experience in program development and administration. Knowledge and experience working with community education, health, nutrition, or social services-related organizations in a collaborative manner. Knowledge of the five protective factors and the Strengthening Families approach, preferred. Two or more years of experience in a supervisory role, preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Experience working with confidential data. Must possess or have the ability to obtain Standards of Quality certification within 6 months of hire. Ability to work with a variety of clients and organizations in a confidential/professional manner. Ability to perform job duties independently with minimal supervision. Have proven ability to take initiative and handle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy. Must possess strong organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to supervise, delegate, guide, and direct employees. Access to reliable transportation for regular local business travel. Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. Ability to operate computers in daily operations. Job Functions and Responsibilities: Promote a culture of strengthening and empowering families. Manage and oversee the day-to-day FRC operations focused on the health and well-being of children and families and the five protective factors. Identify, plan, and implement core programming. Build the capacity of parent advisory group (s). Supervise, train, evaluate, and mentor staff to ensure the FRC provides a high-quality, appropriate, and culturally sensitive program. Maintain effective communication with families, staff, community partners, and the greater community. Ensure contractual expectations and program targets are met. Oversee quality controls for the FRC, including monitoring program outcomes and evaluating program effectiveness. Work closely with colleagues throughout Wright County to be knowledgeable about the services and opportunities available to our community and how to access and coordinate them, thereby filling gaps in available services. Assist the Community Services & Planning Director with program budget development and management. Oversee contract compliance and report program data and outcomes to funders as appropriate Maintain confidentiality and ensure privacy in communications about children, families, staff and colleagues. Represent FRC with funders and the larger community and contribute to grant writing, fund development, and marketing. Contribute to team effort and meet regularly with leaders of other WCCA programs to plan and monitor initiative implementation and ensure integration of program operations. Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate.
