Our education client is looking for a Technical Writer to join their small team! This role is: - Hybrid with 2-3 days on site per week (ideally Tues/Wed/Thurs) in Brooklyn Park, MN - Would consider REMOTE after being hired on permanently (just not during freelance period) - 20-30 hours per week - Open to temporary contractors -or- contract to permanent - Starting as soon as possible! An ideal Technical Writer will have: - 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally with highly technical content - Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, HTML, desktop, and web publishing. - Experience working with WordPress, or similar content management systems. - Knowledge of 508 compliance and ADA accessibility for print and online mediums is a big plus! Technical Writer responsibilities include: - Supporting corporate marketing, technical documentation teams, and project management teams by creating a variety of written content. - Deliverables include editing user guides, web pages, online help instructions, and other technical marketing materials required for state education assessment projects. - Maintaining printed and online documentation for all projects.
