About the role: Improve patients' lives and make a meaningful impact to those around you by joining the Metals Core Technology (MCT) Quality Team in Maple Grove, MN. In this dynamic production environment, you will find the technical autonomy you desire to drive innovation and transform customer experiences globally. As a Senior Quality Supervisor, you are a leader of people, responsible for their success! You will be providing leadership, coaching and mentorship your quality team. He/she/they will be the voice of quality for our internal customers, ensuring delivery of the highest quality product to our patients while supporting continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives. Your responsibilities include: Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicans in the achievement of quality and organizational goals, provide guidance, coaching and training to quality staff as well as providing guidance on daily work priorities to improve product performance. Assist team in achieving department and personal development goals, recruit and maintain a high performing team. Applies sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues. Champion a culture of prevention and continuous improvement across the team, function, and site. Demonstrates effective leadership during times of change. Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational goals and objectives. Demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. What we're looking for: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with an Engineering or Science background 5+ years of relevant technical experience 1+ years of supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications Strong verbal, written communication skills, both technical and conversational Decision making and negotiation skills, individually and within groups Experience in managing multiple projects across multiple organizational disciplines Requisition ID:585002 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
