We partner with R&D on the front end of projects, innovate to determine how to make a design come to fruition and partner with Operations to launch life-saving devices into the market that improve and extend the lives of patients around the world. Your Opportunity: As a Process Development Intern at Boston Scientific, you will... Use your problem-solving abilities to experiment and perform meaningful, hands-on engineering work. Your Impact: Examples of meaningful work by Process Development Interns: Design, fabricate and test prototype devices to address clinical feedback. Conduct process characterization experiments and Process Validation to determine optimal settings to be used in device manufacturing. Investigate and recommend new technology to be utilized to create medical devices Qualifications: Current Bachelor's student in your Junior or Senior year or grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify. Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or other related STEM field. Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams. Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions. Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred but not required.
