Our client is in search of a Controller to manage their internal accounting and finance functions. Located in the West Metro, this role involves a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial systems, ensuring statutory and GAAP compliance, and assisting in the analysis of financial results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

• Manage statutory requirements including tax returns, sales and use tax, and employment tax.

• Assist in analyzing periodic financial results and prepare reports related to compensation, benefits, and expenses.

• Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee company accounting functions.

• Review technology needs for accounting, control, and reporting requirements.

• Manage capital assets, ensuring they are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate.

• Oversee payroll preparation and administration

• Manage employee insurance and benefits plans.

• Assist with onboarding of new team members and manage administrative functions.

• Assist with all leases, contracts, and other financial commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience

• CPA and/or advanced degree preferred

• Skilled in Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis

• Knowledge of US GAAP

• Detail oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and strong analytical skills

• Ability to Create and Deliver Presentations to Stakeholders

• Excellent Communication Skills
