About the Role: As an Associate Program Manager, you will work in partnership with other PMs to lead the next generation WATCHMAN implant program within our NPD team.The core focus of this role will be supporting the team through the PLCP process, which will include leadership of workstreams, budget and schedule management, and other daily execution tasks required to deliver the program goals.We are looking for an individual that is passionate about identifying and developing solutions to challenging problems while navigating the complex.This is a great opportunity for a new Associate Program Manager to develop their skills in the exciting growth area of WATCHMAN. Your responsibilities include: Program Management: Manages all phases of the project from definition through clinical evaluation and launch. Responsible for establishing team operational goals, developing timeline/schedule to achieve operational goals, and operating budget required to achieve goals.Responsible for establishing prioritization of tasks across project, workstreams, and owners. Accountable for team performance to project goals and commitments. People Management: Manages multi-site cross-functional development teams in a matrixed organization; leads teams effectively; provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance. Product/Technology Management: Successfully manage the challenges of technology development, new therapy development and the challenges that arise from pioneering new medical therapies. Risk Management: Responsible for identifying, communicating, and managing program execution risk. Communications and Reviews: Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and senior leadership; leads phase and business reviews, project core team meetings, and other key program communications. Experience we are looking for: Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or Project Management. 2-4 years of relevant project management experience. Demonstrated knowledge of product development process. Demonstrated success independently managing a project's scope, timeline, budget and risk. Demonstrated ability to resolve day to day project challenges with minimal oversight. Demonstrated ability to tailor communication across different levels of the organization, from peers to senior management. Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others in a matrixed organization.
