Texas Health Hospital Mansfield- operates as a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth.

Schedule: Full Time Days, 40 hours a week

The community you’ll be caring for:

· Provide wholistic care for patients that extends to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families. Chaplains are available to meet with patients, families and team members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide spiritual support.

· Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Women’s Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you’ll contribute:

The EMS liaison establishes, develops, and manages the relationships between hospital administration, ED staff and local/regional/state Emergency Medical Service (EMS) agencies. This role is responsible for supporting, planning, and executing critical initiatives to drive market share and establish trusting relationships with private and local agencies. The EMS liaison works with the C-suite leadership, Director of Emergency Department, Business Development, Trauma, Cardiology, and Stroke leaders, and Marketing to increase Emergency Medical Service, Cardiology, and Stroke market share. Identifies and alleviates issues that may affect the delivery of health care as well as the hospital’s relationship with EMS providers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Overall strategic planning and direction of the relationships and business development between Texas Health Mansfield and local EMS entities.

  • Functions as a key member of the team and responds to changing and evolving emergency department, EMS, and regional executive strategy goals and initiatives.

  • Responsible for driving new market share from private and local municipalities, as well as actively seeking to partner with internal service lines to enhance the overall patient experience.

  • Responsible for performing statistical analysis to determine EMS throughput improvement opportunities, EMS volume fluctuations with root cause analysis and forecasting, and growth opportunity analysis.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Associate degree paramedic

  • Knowledge of Mansfield EMS companies and Mansfield Fire Houses.

  • Strong Relationship building

  • 3 years of related experience

  • Current valid State of Texas or multi state license Paramedic

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Current ACLS certification
