Emerson Production Supervisor in Mansfield, Ohio

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the production team to ensure production targets and metrics are achieved by the team. Monitor and adjust workflows to increase efficiencies.

  • Maintain quality standards for products and processes.

  • Implement quality control checks and corrective actions as needed, while collaborating with the Quality team to resolve issues

  • Train, mentor, and develop production staff conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing feedback

  • Address personnel issues and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Investigating and reporting all incidents, near misses and hazard identification.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.

  • Analyze production data and generate performance reports.

  • Implement process improvements based on data analysis.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years demonstrated ability in a manufacturing supervisory role.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and MS Office.
