We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Plant Controller role based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States. This role is set within the telecom industry, where you will be collaborating with team members to make important plant-level decisions and manage all accounting activities involved in various sectors like billing, accounts payable, payroll, capital assets, general ledger, and standard costing systems. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to make plant-level decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness.

• Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information to monitor operating results in terms of profitability and performance against budget.

• Manage the preparation of weekly flash, monthly forecast, annual profit plans and maintain surveillance on inventories and plant performance.

• Manage all accounting activities to ensure compliance with SOX and company-established policies and procedures.

• Set goals and objectives for the department, determine action within policies required to meet goals, and manage personnel needs.

• Maintain procedures, records, and reports relating to the financial management and methods of the plant.

• Handle internal and external audit requests.

• Maintain the accuracy of the financial analysis of the AR submissions.

• Support corporate requests to ensure the company’s ability to comply with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.

• Support operations/manufacturing activities to achieve production output, productivity, and employee satisfaction goals.

• Handle all other duties as may be assigned.

Skills:

• Experience with 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, Eaton, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Budget Processes, Capital Management.

Requirements • Must have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Plant Controller

• Proficient in using 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, and Eaton

• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and About Time is necessary

• Knowledgeable in Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Capital Management is required

• Must have a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Strong analytical skills to manage large amounts of data

• Excellent strategic planning skills for financial operations

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

• Must demonstrate ethical behaviour and business practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
