Position Summary Versiti in Manitowoc is seeking an experienced phlebotomist (2-4 years) to join our mobiles team! Apheresis experience highly desired. Schedule Must have availability from 4:00am-10:00pm, including weekends and holidays - hours vary daily Full-time opportunity (32-40 hours weekly) Schedules are posted two to three weeks in advance Total Rewards Package Benefits Versiti provides a comprehensive benefits package based on your job classification. Responsibilities Follows all DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van/Promaster, and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment. Travels to other local collection sites, as determined by business need. Prepares collection site and performs set up, including technology systems (may include quality control). Performs donor screening (collects donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy. Observes donors for reactions, provides reaction care and assists other staff in handling reactions if needed. May provide post-reaction care at mobile drives including assessing reactions for recovery, escorting donors, and serving as liaison to coordinate care with host organizations (e.g. high school nurse, drive coordinator).
