RELX INC Quality Test Analyst II in Manila, Philippines

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Test Analyst to oversee and coordinate testing processes across multiple teams and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for finalizing test plans, managing defect tracking, conducting various testing phases, and extensively engaging with business stakeholders to ensure successful sign-off for release. This role involves working with tools such as GCRM, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, PIM, Mylexis, LNAC, Webteam, Webstar, and others.

Accountabilities:

  1. Test Plan Development: (create test cases & document test cases), Kick-off for UAT.
  • Collaborate with different teams to understand and define testing criteria.

  • F inalize and document comprehensive test plans, including entry criteria approved by business leads.

  • Ensure access provision in Azure DevOps and other relevant testing tools.

    1. Test Environment Management:
  • Coordinate with IT to set up and maintain test environments.

  • Prepare and manage test data across various environments.

    1. Defect Management:
  • Oversee defect tracking, logging, and prioritization using defect management tools.

  • Conduct triage calls to review and address defects and their resolution.

    1. Testing Phases:
  • Execute smoke testing to verify critical functionalities.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business testers and gather feedback.

  • Conduct production testing to ensure the application functions as intended post-deployment.

    1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Obtain sign-off from business stakeholders after successful UAT and production testing.

  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure expectation alignment and business engagement, awareness of progress, and address any issues promptly.

  • Participate in project reviews and UAT Connect calls with business stakeholders.

    1. Tools and Systems Coordination:
  • Ensure integration and compatibility between various systems such as Salesforce, Peoplesoft, and other relevant tools.

  • Utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency where applicable.

    1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, defect statuses, and resolutions. Ensure clear audit trail of activity for each UAT cycle.

  • Provide regular status reports to management and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in a QA/Testing role, with a strong understanding of the testing lifecycle and methodologies. (at least 1 year), UAT – preferred; can consider other testing exp

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GCRM, SalesForce (preferred), Peoplesoft, PIM, Mylexis, LNAC, Webteam, Webstar, and others. For external: Azure DevOps, Salesforce & Peoplesoft

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prompt and professional communication a must.

  • Experience in managing and coordinating complex testing activities and defect management processes.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and react quickly and flexibly to changing priorities.

  • Quick learner able to absorb new details/information and take coherent action

  • Design Portfolio must be provided.
