About the Team

P&G HR Accounting Controls and Compliance delivers assurance and risk management solutions to protect and improve accounting operations and compliance for P&G People Services. This is done in two specific ways: act as second level of defense as we perform governance activities on accounting operations and provide consulting services on relevant accounting policies and audit execution as we conduct independent and objective assessments of controls in Balance Sheet Reviews, Journals, Profit Proofing, Closing, and Query Management to identify risks and provide improvement recommendations.

Job Description:

As a Team Leader in the HR Accounting team, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standard processes.

  • Plan, monitor and report on results of routine defective audits.

  • Manage a team of compliance experts in performing audits and governance activities.

  • Lead transformational and compliance projects within or across service lines.

  • Find opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide capability building and support to team members and business partners on accounting and compliance policies, process changes and improvements.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong skills in finance and accounting processes.

  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and business partner management abilities

  • Project management and continuous improvement expertise to drive successful project and change outcomes.

  • Proficiency in SAP or other relevant systems is a plus.
