The Role You Play
A staff nurse at PMHS is typically working clinic hours of Monday to Friday, 8-5PM. Our nurses assist our provider team with psychiatric medication management and provide guidance to patients about those medications.
- The Day-to-Day
- Provide onsite nursing support to medical staff according to scope of license and/or certification
- Handling medication phone calls or emails regarding general information, side effects, and other questions complaints and concerns
- Ordering and giving injections on a weekly basis
- Taking vitals for all in-office patient visits
- Other Duties As Assigned
- Manage sample medications as sent by medical salespeople
- Assist clients with applications for patient assistance in partner drug company programs
