Job Summary: Responsible for overall leadership and sales management of all banking services, loan portfolio management and customer retention in markets within the identified scope of responsibility. Collaborates with Division Director (and/or the Regional President if applicable) in the overall growth and management of the community market(s). The Market President leads implementation of the local strategic plan to support achievement of annual goals in growth, customer acquisition, asset quality, and profitability while maintaining adherence to internal loan and compliance policies. Performs duties in a manner fully supportive of INTRUST’s general banking philosophies. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support the department and/or business unit. Establishes work processes for team members and ensures a high-level of customer service is delivered and promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Maintains strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.

• Effectively manage others by consistently applying INTRUST’s supervisor and manager expectations: relationship management; feedback; coaching and development; establishing effective work culture expectations; critical thinking; business acumen; and resource management.
• Responsible for profitability of the market(s).
• Responsible for loan portfolio management and customer retention and growth without compromising credit quality.
• Conducts sales management meetings and manages the sales process.
• Development of commercial customer acquisition and retention strategies, including the direction of daily operations of commercial lending.
• Development of consumer banking market share growth and customer retention strategies.
• Leads the business development efforts and manages a customer portfolio.
• Plans and directs compliance with INTRUST Bank policies and initiatives to build and enhance our market position in the community.
• Builds the INTRUST community presence and brand.
• Participates in developing budgets and strategic goals for the market and reports progress made toward such goals.
• Selects, develops and oversees the management of employees to serve the market.
• Collaborates across divisions of the bank to assure coordination of customer service across product lines which will include wealth management, treasury management, international banking, and credit/debit card products to jointly acquire and retain customers.
• Acts as principle representative of INTRUST Bank. May establish and maintain relations with other companies, community associations, and government agencies.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, preferably finance, economics, or accounting required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum ten years banking experience that includes business development and /or commercial portfolio management experience is required. Previous management experience also required.
Required Skills and Knowledge: General management, sales management, credit underwriting, demonstrated strong oral and written communication, personal business development and relationship management, planning, negotiation, and critical thinking. Knowledge of federal/state affirmative action and equal employment laws/regulations.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Valid driver’s license. Nationwide Mortgage Lending System (NMLS) Registered or ability to meet qualifications for registration.
Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Working Conditions: Normal office conditions. Driving to and from meetings with clients, as well as entertaining clients outside business hours.
