Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

This leadership role encompasses the development and implementation of effective strategies and business models, along with innovative route-to-market approaches, to drive profitable growth in the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Café) sector for our Ice Cream business.

Main Accountabilities

Market Strategy and Sales Leadership, Business Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals, ensuring market penetration and expansion.

  • Lead implementation of short to long-term sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals ensuring market penetration and expansion

  • Achieve business targets through effective financial management

Growth Initiatives:

  • Drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, expanding the customer base, and fostering key client relationships. Implement strategic plans to ensure long-term sustainable and profitable growth.

Customer Engagement and Satisfaction:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Business Partnering and Core Business Process Efficiency:

  • Ensure the effectiveness of core business processes to support overall operational success

  • Works closely and collaborates with cross-functional teams (Brand, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure alignment with broader company goals and initiatives

  • HORECA Customer Business Manager

  • HORECA Business Development Executive

Strong Commercial Savviness and Business Acumen:

  • Expertise in unlocking value and building a business capable of creating sustainable growth with a clear purpose.

Trend Analysis and Impact Assessment:

  • Deep understanding of current and emerging trends and their potential impact on the business.

Future-Proofing Talent and Organizational Structures:

  • Proactive in ensuring the talent, skills, and organizational structures are prepared for the future.

Digital Technology Proficiency:

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital technologies, their capabilities, and how they impact work processes and job roles.

Relevant Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.

  • Professional Experience: Proven track record with at least 3+ years in a multinational corporate environment, preferably in HORECA, Customer Development and Marketing leadership roles, ideally in the Philippines.

  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Philippine market dynamics, customer behavior, and the regulatory environment.

  • B2B and Out-of-Home Experience: Experience in B2B and out-of-home segments.

  • Strategic and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Leadership and Team Development: Ideal candidate should not only have a track record of achieving sales targets but also demonstrate a genuine commitment to the growth and development of their sales teams. They should be passionate about nurturing talent, building a strong sales organization, and contributing to the long-term success of the company.
