Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with team members to drive efficiency and problem-solving, uphold project budgets, and maintain proper records of time and materials. You will operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools, and equipment while supporting fellow teammates as needed. Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the department is essential. Proper usage of OSHA-approved safety equipment is required. You will also perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to drive efficiency and problem-solving.

• Hold yourself accountable and be willing to accept constructive criticism.

• Uphold the proper budget for each project.

• Maintain proper records of time and materials.

• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools, and equipment.

• Support fellow teammates as needed.

• Apply knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the department.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Use OSHA-approved safety equipment properly, including PPE like gloves and eyewear.

Essential Skills

• 3 years or more experience in the custom car, truck, and/or Hot Rod industry.

• Ability to learn and adapt to change.

• Above-average automotive repair skills.

• Electrical knowledge.

• Knowledge of OEM & Aftermarket fuel injection systems.

• Minor fabrication skills.

• Chassis assembly skills.

• Steering and suspension skills.

• Body panel assembly skills.

• Drivetrain adjustment skills.

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Dyno experience (bonus skill).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mandan, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
