Robert Half Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director in Manchester, New Hampshire
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in Manchester, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be expected to manage payroll procedures for all staff members, maintain compliance with legal requirements, and collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all staff members, ensuring precision in salary computations, deductions, and taxes.
• Adhere strictly to internal policies and legal requirements while managing payroll timelines and staying updated on regulations.
• Handle payroll systems and software, implementing enhancements for functionality and accessibility.
• Generate comprehensive payroll reports for government agencies and senior leadership, providing insights on expenses and trends.
• Conduct thorough payroll audits and supervise payroll staff to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Foster a culture of cross-department collaboration, working closely with HR, Accounting, and other teams to ensure the accuracy of data.
• Review and reconcile payroll accounts, researching company-wide payroll processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance payroll, benefits, and tax procedures, working towards best-practice operations.
• Leverage skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Crystal Reports, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, and Benefit Functions. Requirements • Proven experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Hands-on experience with Ceridian software
• Ability to generate and interpret Crystal Reports
• Expertise in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Proficiency in using About Time software
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
