Hydraulic Service and Repair Technician (Entry Level or Experienced)

US Hydraulics Inc.is currently looking to hire a dependable, self-motivated individual, for our Hydraulics Department- If you are looking for a position in this field or interested inlearning and training in this highly diversified fieldand want to work with a well- established company, have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and excited to work-

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire

WILLING TO TRAIN MOTIVATED PERSON who has experience in Mobile Industry or Mechanical Backgrounds

As a qualified candidate you will learn how to dis-assemble and assemble components and fluid power cylinders, work on site or off site with senior technicians, learn a variety of skills to include welding, machining, painting, assembly, testing, and so much more. Candidate must be mechanically inclined, able to read and speak English and have the capability to measure or learn how to measure using calipers between Standard and Metric. Must be physically capable of prolonged standing, bending and Lifting upwards to 30 lbs+ is required. You will have a range of tasks. Experience with mechanics, diesel, repair equipment small and large, or troubleshooting and repairing equipment is preferred but not necessary- We are willing to train the right individual for this fast paced field. If you have Fabrication and/or Welding skills as well, is a plus..

Job Responsibilities: Preferred but not necessary:

Preferred candidate should have own tools and at least 2 yrs experience in hydraulics or heavy equipment repair, and/or mechanical- (may not be necessary if searching for training opportunity)

  • Should demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness, ability to use Metric/Standard Calipers for accurate measurements
  • Will Safely, accurate tear down and inspection of various size hydraulic cylinders used in Construction, Marine and Industrial markets.
  • Will Determine part Reusability based on our quality standards as well as the OEMs
  • Will Use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, bore indicators, and dial indicators.
  • Should have the ability to Write clear and precise work order instructions in the English language that will be used by other machinist and other mechanics.
  • Will Maintain shop and company equipment - and keep area in good clean orderly condition
  • Should have a Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate forklifts. (Recommended forklift operator experience, willing to train)
  • Welding and machining skills strongly encouragedbut not required

Pay: $38,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
