Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced, strategic Business Development manager to drive partner adoption of our cloud optimization products and services via AWS Well Architected Partner Program. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for building mindshare and accelerating usage of AWS Well-Architected best practices, and other optimization solutions across our most strategic systems integrator, consulting, and ISV partners.
As a seasoned business development professional, you will leverage your deep industry expertise, executive-level relationships, and technical acumen to engage at the CXO level and champion the value of cloud optimization. You will work closely with partners to assess their needs, design impactful programs and initiatives, and execute go-to-market strategies that increase adoption and drive mutual business growth.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead strategic business development activities to increase partner adoption of AWS cloud optimization products and services via AWS Well Architected Partner Program
• Assess partner needs, create and launch customized initiatives to drive Well-Architected best practices and usage of optimization tools
• Extract and package cloud architectural best practices, and patterns from engagements to promote across the AWS ecosystem
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS partner team, sales, professional services, and other teams to deliver an integrated partner experience
• Analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to continuously improve partner programs and results
• Travel as needed, generally 10-15% of the time

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in enterprise technology sales, consulting, or business development roles and a proven track record of cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with large organizations
Knowledge of AWS and/or other cloud computing platforms and services and an ability to engage at the CXO level and build trusted advisor relationships
Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
Experience designing and overseeing cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Background in financial modelling and building business cases for technology investments and an existing network and relationships within the AWS partner ecosystem
Hands-on experience with AWS services and architectural best practices, AWS Solution Architect Associate Certified Preferred
