The Work
The Stf, DevSecOps Engineer will provide support for tools and processes related to Aegis development. A qualified candidate for this position will have the technical knowledge and experience to successfully instantiate, maintain, and resolve issues for development environments to ensure business continuity as well as consistency across programs. The Stf, DevSecOps Engineer’s primary responsibilities include supporting the Site Reliability Engineer teams (SRTs), developing and supporting technologies and processes that drive the Common Source Library (CSL) community of products that make up the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline), tool and pipeline transitions/migrations (i.e. system 318 transition, RHEL8 migration). The Stf, DevSecOps Engineer will also be responsible for identification and implementation of changes to legacy processes and tools in alignment with the business’ Digital Transformation (Dx) initiatives for DevSecOps.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS Degree
• Software development skills working in one or more of: Java, Python, Ansible, Groovy, Maven, Make, Go
• Understanding of one or more tools in use: OpenStack, Bitbucket, Jenkins Pipeline, Groovy, Maven, Git/Gitlab, Ansible, CMake, Artifactory, RHEL8
• Experience with Cloud technologies (i.e. Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience integrating tools (i.e. Jira with Gitlab)
• Experience working in a ticket/helpdesk environment
• Experience troubleshooting the Common Source Pipeline
• Experience with Aegis product teams Fortify/SAST usage support (outside and in the pipeline)
• Experience with SAST automation in the pipeline and troubleshooting support
• Ability to write Ansible and maintain playbooks
• Experience writing Jenkins Pipeline Groovy code or similar setup (GitLab)
• Experience with IL5/IL6 Cloud environments and setting up pipelines within those environments
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and pipeline role
• Ability to obtain & maintain a Secret clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Configuration Management tools and processes
• Understanding of basic dependency management concepts
• Understanding of basic configuration management process
• Understanding of automated tests at any level and experience writing automated tests
• Experience building C++ applications
• Self-starter, ability to learn quickly, and work collaboratively across organizations
• Willing to learn any assignment within the DevSecOps lifecycle to accomplish tasks; T-shaped Engineer
• Well versed in Semantic Versioning
• Ability to write Ansible and maintain playbooks
• Experience writing Jenkins Pipeline Groovy code or similar setup (GitLab)
• Experience refactoring and/or refractoring to incorporate inverted dependencies
• Knowledge of Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS) programs, products, and processes
• Experience performing tool and process migrations

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $109,500 - $209,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $125,900 - $237,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
