Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a Senior Biologist to work onsite in Manassas, VA.
We're looking for a Senior Biologist to manufacture materials and standards. You'll work under minimal guidance to support the production of virus cultures and derivative products, as well as contribute to data collection and recording. Extensive experience with cell culture, and knowledge of virus growth is required. Prior molecular experience preferred. Apply today for consideration.

Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations: Manufacturing of biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) , work instructions , and other controlled documents. M aintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies.
Documentation: Maintain production batch records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Revise and develop SOPs and work instructions. Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring meticulous documentation.
Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Work towards subject matter expertise of various cell lines and organisms, and handle challenges in alignment with organizational policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Extensive experience with cell culture required.
Virology experience is required.
Molecular experience is preferred.
Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
