Facility Engineer (Manassas, VA) -
Operate and control theHVAC Systems
to control the temperature and humidity of the facility as perFDA
requirements; Oversee addition and maintenance ofHV/LV Electrical Circuits
as per UL guideline; Maintain building security, Alarm system, and fire safety system; Oversee procurement of new equipment and perform feasibility studies of new facilityprojects to optimize cost efficiency using Project Management;
Author Engineering SOP, Warehouse SOP, Packaging Operations and Manufacturing Equipment SOPs, and DEA SOPs; Create SOP for Environment Health and Safety (EHS)-related activities and conduct training on safety procedures on the production floor and overall site as per OSHA guidelines; Develop and execute validation protocols including FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ protocol of equipment, and manufacturing processes; Streamline operations and improve facility functionality; ApplyElectrical/Mechanical blueprint skills to troubleshoot facilities and pharmaceutical
manufacturing equipment/machines problems; Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to create and maintain important Engineering/Quality documents; Follow GMPto support production-related issues on the packaging floor; Perform Preventative Maintenance of Equipment; Perform periodic calibration and verification of tools and sensors as per ISO regulation requirement; Perform root cause analysis and write deviation for any production-related problems and write Change control for any update in existing procedures; Perform risk management activities, including CAPA, Deviation Report, FMEA, and DFMEA; Create and trend production, quality control, and maintenance data, reports and statistics to plan and improve production andmaintenance activities to reducing costs and waste, as well as improving the productivity of the packaging line. Must have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering plus skills and knowledge of
